Kitchen Deep-Clean Checklist

What this sheet is for

A kitchen deep clean is a different job from the daily wipe-down. It is the session where oven racks come out, the fridge gets emptied and the floor gets moved under. Most people reach for this sheet once a month, before guests arrive, at the end of a tenancy, or whenever daily cleaning has fallen behind and the room needs a proper reset.

How to use it

Start with Surfaces & Appliance Exteriors and tick each item as you finish it; this section clears grease and dust before you touch anything else. Move to Appliance Interiors once the outsides are done — this is the longest section and includes the fridge, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Finish with Floor, Sink & Final Checks, which closes out the session and includes restocking supplies so the kitchen is ready to use again. Use the blank lines to add any appliances or fixtures specific to your kitchen, and use the notes box to record products used, things needing repair, or tasks to carry forward.

What is printed on the page

Tips

Spray oven cleaner at the very start and leave it to work while you complete all other sections.

Put fridge shelves in the sink to soak as soon as you remove them; they are easier to wipe after soaking.

Note the date in the Date cleaned field so you know exactly when the next deep clean is due.
