About these baby Log Sheet sheets
The three sheets here cover the core records most parents and health visitors need in the first year. The Daily Feed & Nappy Log captures hour-by-hour feeding and nappy data for the newborn weeks. The Baby Sleep Log tracks every sleep period across day and night over any span of time. The Baby Growth Tracker records weight, length, and head circumference week by week. Each sheet focuses on one area so entries stay quick and readable.
Choosing between them
If your baby is under six weeks, or if a midwife or paediatrician has asked you to monitor intake and output, start with the Daily Feed & Nappy Log. If your main concern is whether your baby is sleeping enough or settling into a pattern, the Baby Sleep Log suits that purpose across any age. If you are attending regular weigh-ins or plotting growth against centile charts with a health visitor, the Baby Growth Tracker is the sheet to bring to those appointments and keep between them.
What each sheet contains
“Daily Feed & Nappy Log” is the dated table layout — a date column plus four labelled value columns and an optional notes column, 22 numbered rows, and a summary strip at the foot. Its column headings run to four entries, starting with “Feed start time”, “Duration / ml” and “Nappy type”.
“Baby Sleep Log” is the two-column log layout — two side-by-side tables of date, value and note (18 rows each, 36 entries a page), with a target field across the top. Its labels include “Week starting”, “Duration” and “Notes”.
“Baby Growth Tracker” is the notes and table layout — a 12-row date table with three value columns across the top, a large ruled notes area beneath it, and two summary fields at the foot. Its column headings run to three entries, starting with “Weight (kg / lb)”, “Length (cm / in)” and “Head Circ. (cm / in)”.
Printing
Each of the three baby Log Sheet sheets downloads as a PDF in US Letter or A4 from its own page, laid out in black and white so it prints on any home or office printer. Nothing on the page is carried by colour, the fields are sized for handwriting, and the same layout can be refilled with your own labels in the generator.
