About these travel Daily Planner sheets

These three printable sheets are each designed for a single day of travel, but they handle that day differently. The Holiday Day Itinerary gives you a structured hour-by-hour frame for sightseeing and leisure days. The Travel Day Logistics Planner focuses on the moving parts of a transit day — check-outs, connections, arrivals. The Layover Day Planner is built around a fixed departure window, with space for both compulsory tasks and optional time outside the airport.

Choosing between them

Use the Holiday Day Itinerary on any full day spent at a destination — city breaks, touring days, guided trips. Switch to the Travel Day Logistics Planner on days when you are physically moving between places: early check-outs, train or flight connections, late arrivals at a new hotel. Choose the Layover Day Planner specifically when you have several hours between flights and need to track your onward connection time while deciding how much of that window you can use outside the terminal.

What each sheet contains

“Holiday Day Itinerary” is the time-blocked day layout — hourly schedule column 6am–9pm on the left; top-three priorities, a to-do checklist and a notes box on the right. Its priority prompts run to three entries, starting with “Main sight or activity (book ahead?)”, “Key transport — time, ref. no.” and “One thing that cannot be moved”.

“Travel Day Logistics Planner” is the three sections layout — three stacked, labelled sections of checkbox lines (e.g. morning, midday, evening), a tick-off tracker strip of eight items and a two-line reflection at the foot. Its tracker items run to eight entries, starting with “Passport/ID”, “Boarding pass” and “Local cash”.

“Layover Day Planner” is the focus page layout — a large single-focus box across the top, three numbered must-dos and six could-do checkboxes on the left, a five-habit checklist and a notes area on the right. Its habit labels run to five entries, starting with “Passport / visa in hand”, “Phone & battery charged” and “Local cash or card ready”.

Printing

Each of the three travel Daily Planner sheets downloads as a PDF in US Letter or A4 from its own page, laid out in black and white so it prints on any home or office printer. Nothing on the page is carried by colour, the fields are sized for handwriting, and the same layout can be refilled with your own labels in the generator.
