Baby Supplies Inventory

What this sheet is for

Running out of nappies at midnight or discovering the last tin of formula is nearly empty mid-feed is avoidable. This sheet gives parents and caregivers a single place to record exactly what is in stock, where it is kept, and the minimum quantity that should trigger a restock, so that whoever is on duty always has the full picture.

How to use it

Write today's date in the Checked on field at the top right. For each row in the Supply Item column, fill in Qty on hand with the actual count or volume you can see right now, then write the cupboard, shelf, or room in Stored where. In Min. needed, note the lowest quantity you are comfortable having before you order more — this number will differ by item and by your shopping habits. If the current quantity is at or below that minimum, put a tick in the Restock column at the far right. Use the four blank rows at the bottom for any additional items specific to your baby, such as a particular brand of probiotic drops or a specialist formula.

What is printed on the page

“Baby Supplies Inventory” is laid out as item table: eighteen pre-filled item rows plus four blank ones against three labelled columns (e.g. quantity, location, status) and an optional restock tick column. Two things about this particular item table are settings rather than text, and “Baby Supplies Inventory” has them set like this. Restock column is on: add a tick-box column at the right for items to restock. Blank rows is on: add four blank rows after the pre-filled items.

Tips

Date each tin or pack with a marker pen when you open it so you can rotate stock and avoid waste.

Set your Min. needed threshold higher for items you cannot buy locally at short notice, such as specialist formula.

Photograph the completed sheet and share it with your partner or co-carer so both of you can add to the shopping list.
